The Wyndham New Yorker dates back to 1929, the height of the Jazz Age, since when it has become one of New York’s landmark hotels. The art décor exterior is reflected in the design of its rooms, each offering comfort away from the hustle and bustle of the streets below. The hotel’s famous round-the-clock ‘Tick Tock Diner’ is aptly named and serves everything from burgers to salad, and with a great all-day breakfast menu. As an alternative, ‘Cooper’s Tavern’ offers breakfast and lunch in a casual atmosphere. With its 8th Avenue location, you’re never far away from all the major sightseeing spots, with the Jacob Javits Center, Penn Station and Madison Square Garden right on your doorstep.
If you’re looking to be in the heart of the action, the DoubleTree is for you! The hotel is, as you’ve guessed, located right on Times Square and is just a short walk from Broadway’s multitude of theatres, with the Rockefeller Center, Chrysler Building and Madison Square Garden also within easy reach. Each of the 612 rooms has a coffee maker and black-out curtains, and for amazing views of the Empire State Building, think about upgrading to one of the higher floors.
The hotel’s ‘Craven Restaurant’ serves great food all day and of an evening, kick back in the rooftop lounge, and gaze out over the Manhattan skyline whilst listening to live music.
Until recently known as the Affinia Manhattan, the Stewart enjoys an enviable location on Seventh Avenue, just a short walk from Broadway, the Empire State Building and Penn Station, from where you can travel all over the city. The Stewart is a lively, boutique hotel, with 618 luxurious bedrooms, and suites with kitchenette, all with the very latest of in-room amenities. Of course, there are a multitude of dining options nearby, but if you don’t want to leave the hotel,
‘Niles Restaurant’ serves contemporary American cuisine and is one of the most popular eating venues in the area, attracting theatre and concert-goers on a nightly basis.
On New York’s fashionable East Side, guests of the Grand Hyatt
will be greeted by a stunning atrium with an infinity water fountain, and this sets the tone for your stay in this sophisticated hotel.
1,298 luxurious rooms and suites afford an above average amount of space, each furnished in modern décor. Dining in the Grand Hyatt is a treat, with ‘New York Central’ renowned for its gourmet cuisine, excellent wines and plush cocktail lounge. For quick ‘grab-and-go’ food and drink, ‘Market’ is a 24-hour deli offering a whole range of delicacies. Its location, adjacent to Grand Central Station and within easy reach of Times Square, Central Park and Broadway, only serve to emphasise why the Grand Hyatt is so highly acclaimed.
