The luxury Yosemite View Lodge is located in El Portal, about 10 miles from Yosemite Village, just moments from the outdoor adventures, activities and natural beauty of Yosemite Park. Completed in 1904, Old Faithful Inn is the largest log structure in the world, where you will be greeted by the towering lobby and its centrepiece huge stone fireplace. The 372 rooms provide accommodation in a variety of styles, with small traditional rooms – some with shared bathroom – in the original Old House Wing and newer, quieter rooms in the east and west wings, some affording views of the thermal basin. ‘Old Faithful Inn Dining Room’ serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and after a day of touring, the laid-back ‘Bear Pit’ lounge will welcome you with a refreshing beverage.
